With more than ten years of experience as a dental assistant in general dentistry, she has a special passion for oral surgery that truly shines. Bilingual in both English and Spanish, Heidy with a diverse range of patients. When she's not making smiles brighter, you can find her enjoying workouts and catching the latest films with her husband Leo son Matthew!

Dr. Marianela Cardenas is a passionate, highly trained orthodontist with over a decade of experience creating confident, beautiful smiles. She earned her dental degree in Venezuela, completed advanced orthodontic training in Mexico City, and received her Orthodontics Certificate from Nova Southeastern University. She has passed the written exam of the American Board of Orthodontics and proudly serves as an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University, helping shape the next generation of orthodontists.

Jesus graduated from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 1990 and has been a licensed pharmacist for over 25 years. Since joining Aesthetic Smiles by Design in 2009, he has worked closely with insurance companies, staff, and patients to make quality dental care as affordable as possible. “My favorite part of working at the dental office is helping patients afford the care they need to achieve the beautiful, healthy smiles they deserve!”
